Positioned at the heart of the composition, the seahorse moves with the flow rather than against it—a symbol of adaptability, strength, and growth through experience.
I choose to work almost entirely in white because, for me, light is the purest color. As light moves across the textured surface, it reveals shifting shadows and subtle dimensions, allowing the artwork to transform with every change in perspective.

This hand-sculpted bas-relief portrays a sea turtle moving gracefully toward the light, surrounded by the organic forms of an underwater world. The work explores themes of freedom, resilience, and transformation, using texture and relief to evoke the quiet movement and timeless rhythm of the ocean. For me, the turtle’s journey toward the light becomes a metaphor for moving forward with strength and purpose.
